Frequently asked questions about the Square payment gateway
Do you charge any commission or service fees for each event or each registration?
We do not add any commission fees for your events or your attendee registrations which means that you keep more funds from each registration. Connect your business account from Square for $10 per month to Event Smart and receive payments directly to your Square merchant account as your attendees register and pay for their event registrations or event tickets.
How can I set up a recurring payment, payment plan, or a subscription through Square?
Recurring payments, payment plans, or subscriptions are not currently supported in the Square feature upgrade. When an attendee pays for their event registration with Square, they pay upfront, so you receive your funds right away.
Where is Google Pay and Apple Pay available?
Google Pay and Apple pay are available in select countries.
